Diana Claitor

About: Diana chose Austin as home after growing up all over Texas and Southern California.
For more than 20 years, historical research and writing and journalism have been the focus of her working life; she has written hundreds of newspaper and magazine articles.
She was inspired to start the jail project by her friend Diane Wilson, who was locked up for protesting and trespassing on the property of a Gulf Coast petrochemical plant.
Diana and her husband live in South Austin with a small flock of banties and two dogs.
