David Hanson

David is a software engineer and product manager with over 20 years of experience building database applications. Originally from Brownsville, the southernmost city in Texas, he grew up on both sides of the border, crossing as frequently as possible, and exploring the scrubland of the Gulf Coast. After moving to Austin in 2001 he worked in legal technology for six years before shifting focus to start-ups. He has helped education, healthcare, and entertainment organizations build or grow their products, as well as consulted in web and design for a wide variety of local small businesses. He has contributed technical support to the Texas Jail Project since 2008.
