- During the review of the recreation documentation, this inspector observed that the documentation did not reflect that inmates were offered the chance to go to recreation for 1 hour, 3 days per week as required by minimum jail standards. Further, interview of staff revealed that inmates were not provided the opportunity to recreate as required by minimum jail standards which was reflected in the documentation.
- During the review of the life safety documentation, this inspector established that all jailers did not receive life safety training upon employment and quarterly thereafter as required by minimum jail standards.
- The facility administration did not observe the 24 our period as required by minimum jail standards. The administration understood that the notice took place from the date of the incident report and not from the date and time the inmate signs his or her notice of disciplinary.
