This inspector could not verify that the staff has conducted a classification audit since the last inspection (April 24, 2019) as required by minimum jail standards
While documentation presented indicates searches have been conducted, the inmate cells still contain excessive amounts of contraband. It should be noted that the contractual agreement allows for the inmates to have items that this inspector considers dangerous and excessive. The officers do not remove the contraband from the inmate cells. The deficiency still exists.
